The contrasting responses of Moses and Pharaoh demonstrate two fundamental ways humans respond to God’s call – humble obedience or proud defiance. Despite feeling inadequate and unqualified, Moses ultimately chose to trust God and deliver His message. Pharaoh, however, repeatedly hardened his heart against God’s commands, even in the face of miraculous signs. This powerful narrative reminds us that God works through ordinary people who choose to be faithful, regardless of their perceived limitations, while warning against the dangerous path of heart-hardening resistance to divine guidance.
