Rudy grew up in a Christian home and received the Lord Jesus as Savior as a young
adult after participating in Bible study with his wife and other couples.
After serving in the Army for two years, Rudy earned his degree in Accounting and held
various controller and accounting center manager positions for a retail company in
Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.
In 1986, he returned to the DFW area as the Chief Financial Officer for a start-up
company and continues to serve several companies as CFO today.
Rudy and his wife, Vicki have a daughter and a son, and have been blessed with four
grandchildren. They have been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for most of their
married life, serving in various leadership positions.
They came to Southlake Baptist Church at the invitation of (elder) Ron and Jan Holland
and immediately felt welcomed as family. They enjoy volunteering at VBS, substitute
teaching in Kidz Ministry Bible studies and Quest, and also teaching adult Bible studies
regularly.
Rudy has served as an elder since January 2020.
