Learn more about Lori
Lori Hale is first and foremost a “Seeker” of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Secondly, she is the wife of Mike Hale, who has been a business owner in the Ft. Worth area for the past thirty years. They just celebrated twenty years of marriage and have a 13-yr old daughter Hannah-Belle, who is their greatest treasure.
Lori received her Culinary Arts degree in the early 90’s and has worked as a professional chef in hotels restaurants, catering and as a private chef around the DFW metroplex for twenty plus years. She apprenticed at the Loews Anatole in Dallas for three years while simultaneously completing her culinary degree. Southwestern cuisine still maintains a heavy influence on her culinary repertoire from the privilege of training under Chef Stephen Pyles in two of his Dallas restaurants.
Taking the position of Sunday brunch and banquet Sous Chef at the Worthington Hotel brought her to Cowtown where she met and married her husband, Mike. She became a stay-at-home Mom when their daughter was born, but has continued her love for cooking and seeing people enjoy eating good food together.
At the age of 47, God called Lori to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she received a Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE), with a concentration in women’s ministry. During the 4-1/2 year seminary journey, she spent time evangelizing, mentoring and discipling women from all walks of life. God is now opening a new chapter, “doing a new thing,” and she is thrilled to have the privilege to share it with you!
