On Sunday , February 8, we are hosting a “Marriage Emphasis” Weekend. Our new Interim Pastor, Joe Lightner will be leading this weekend. Joe will be helping us over the coming months in many areas of our church.
At 9:15 AM in the Library, we will combine all of our Student – Adult Bible Study Classes and discuss
Marriage: God’s Idea (Genesis 2-3)
At 10:30 AM in our Worship Service, we will discuss Marriage: God’s Ideal (Ephesians 5: 22-33) 
Joe and his wife Rebekah have two daughters, Hannah (8) and Julia (5) and are members of our church. Joehas an extensive ministry background from pastoring growing churches to serving as a denominational and parachurch executive leader. In addition, Joe has experience preaching evangelistic rallies, revivals, and conferences. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, TX where he earned a Master of Divinity and will graduate with a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA this spring. The Lightners are moving to Indianapolis Indiana this summer to start a brand new church.
