Men and their sons 9th grade and up are invited to join us for a day at Rough Creek Lodge. We have the option to enjoy various different activities including shooting shot guns, throwing tomahawks, fishing, and hiking.

This will be an incredible day at the world renowned Rough Creek Lodge, (http://www.roughcreek.com/) and will include a meaningful time of tuning up our lives, as well as some of the greatest manly recreation there is. Rough Creek offers top of the line facilities for sporting clays, fishing, rock climbing, hiking, disc golf, horseshoes & washers, and even a zip line.
Your registration fee starts at $20 which includes lunch at the famous Loco Coyote (http://www.yelp.com/biz/loco-coyote-grill-glen-rose). There is an additional $65 charge for the much anticipated shotgun event which includes a 45-minute round of 5-Stand (a variation of sporting clays). The guns (12 gauge or 20 gauge) and the ammo are provided for us by Rough Creek.
And new this trip around is the option to participate in throwing tomahawks. There is an additional $25 for this activity. I’m sure this will be an exciting challenge as we try our hands at one of the oldest contests in America.
We will meet at the church to depart by carpool at 8am and return around 6pm. If you are willing to drive your vehicle in the carpool, please include this when you register and specify how many seats are available in your vehicle including yourself.
