NextGen is our young adult Bible Study and primarily consists of college students, young professionals, and couples who haven’t had kids quite yet. This group is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and providing a supportive environment for young adults navigating the complexities of modern life. By engaging with Scripture and sharing experiences, NextGen aims to equip its members with the tools and insights needed to thrive both spiritually and personally.
This fall, we will delve into the book of 1 Corinthians, a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the early Christian community in Corinth. Paul addresses a range of issues faced by the Corinthians, including divisions within the church, moral dilemmas, and the challenges of living out their faith in a culturally diverse and often hostile environment. Through our study, we will explore how Paul’s teachings can be applied to our own lives, helping us to navigate the complexities of our contemporary world with wisdom and grace. We will examine themes such as unity, love, and ethical living, drawing parallels between the first-century church and the challenges we face today.
The class is also a great way to build community with other believers who are facing the challenges of becoming an adult in today’s world, such as work, dating, finances, and faith. In a society that often values individualism and self-reliance, NextGen offers a space where young adults can find support, encouragement, and accountability. Building strong relationships within a faith community is essential for spiritual growth and resilience. We hope you will come visit and give it a try. Looking forward to seeing you there!
