Wouldn’t it be great if you and your family invested your summer for the glory of Jesus?
Our church is endeavoring to do something extraordinary through our 9:15 AM Bible Studies.
Sundays, we are doing a 13-week journey through Basic Theology as part of our Gospel Project Bible Study curriculum. This curriculum can help prepare you and your students deal with the challenging questions in front of them. We will consider questions like…..
1. Does God exist?
2. What is God like?
3. Is Jesus really God?
4. Is Jesus really man?
5. Who is the Holy Spirit?
6. Will someone please explain the Trinity?
Younger children will also be studying some great lessons in the Old Testament that you can tie to these big ideas about Theology.
One of our core values as a church is to pass our faith on to our kids – There is no better way to do that as family than by participating in this exciting time of learning.
As part of the Gospel Project Curriculum, there are apps and a multitude of resources that will help you carry on a conversation throughout the week with your teenagers and children. These resources will be covered this Sunday in every class. Every week, you will receive a handout that will allow you to go home and connect the dots with your family and to continue a conversation that starts on Sunday.
Additionally, we are excited about Vacation Bible School this summer from June 24 -27. Kids will be challenged to tap into God’s promises to give them the courage to face their fears by trusting in Him. In this four-day adventure, kids will be challenged to trust God through Bible stories, crafts, motivating music, and games. You can register your kids on our church’s website.
This summer can be a time of great spiritual victory in our church and our kids. Let’s give God the preeminence He deserves and our kids the preparation that they will need. I know many of you are already thinking through this. My desire is that we would do something unique in the life of church family that literally impacts our legacies for the Glory of God.
