Kidz Rock is our exciting after school club at Johnson Elementary. This club is led by the same folks who have previously led Kid’s Beach Club. This year we’ve chosen to use all we’ve learned over these last few years and create something perfect for the great kids we have here in Southlake. Kidz Rock will meet right after school in the cafeteria until 4:05pm just like KBC has done in the past. Each week we’ll spend time playing games, singing songs, memorizing scripture, and studying God’s Word…and we’ll have a blast doing it!
Kidz Rock is available for kids in 1st-4th grade. As of now we are limited on space so kindergarteners will not be eligible to attend, however we may be able to add them in the future depending how quickly we fill up with registration. Students will be picked up from the car-rider line in the same way normal pick up is done after school.

We love to partner with parents to make Kidz Rock a success. Here are a few ways you can help.
- Volunteer your time. Join us each week to help in a group by leading discussion, helping keep order, or by just being another set of eyes to make sure kids are safe. We and the school district do require background checks for all of our volunteers.
- Volunteer your food. We are always accepting snack donations that we use to pass out to the kids. Typical snacks include individual bags of Goldfish crackers, Cheezits, fruit snacks, etc. The one requirement is that it can’t be homemade. You can simply drop of your donation in the school office, at Southlake Baptist Church’s office, or give it to a volunteer when you’re in the car line picking up your student from Kidz Rock.
- Volunteer your money. We collect money throughout the year to help offset the cost of renting the school facility, supplies, and food. You can drop money off to a volunteer in the car line when you pick up your student after Kidz Rock or follow this LINK to donate online.
